Universal Invader™ Chemistry
The Universal Invader™ chemistry gives researchers versatility of detection allowing for qualitative or quantitative detection of DNA and RNA sequences. One major benefit of Universal Invader™ chemistry is that it combines the sensitivity of PCR amplification with the specificity of Invader® chemistry detection. Universal Invader™ chemistry also reduces the possibility of amplicon contamination in the laboratory environment by utilizing a single well, single addition reaction format in a closed vessel. In addition, the Universal Invader™ reaction format eliminates the need for expensive laboratory equipment such as real-time detection platforms. The Universal Invader™ chemistry only requires a incubation platform capable of performing PCR and a plate reader capable of fluorescence detection.
